Risk Assessment
We will need to use props such
as knives and baseball bats in our filming so therefore we must be careful
where we film and make sure it is not a public place.
When we are filming we must
ensure that we are not putting ourselves in danger or at risk for example not
jumping off a high wall or on the edge of a cliff. Also we are filming in some
woods so there may be many things that we could trip over.
Health and safety on set is
very important when filming as accidents do happen, equipment can be damaged
and cast and crew can be severely hurt. Despite our film being set in a forest
which has lots of dangerous elements which could harm our actor, we marked out
a path where it was safe for Tovia to run for the running scene as the Plunge
forest it quite muddy and slippery.
Also, we were used a kitchen knife, we had to careful not to harm any of the actors. As we used the kitchen knife near Rizwana’s face, we had to be especially careful not to cut her. We therefore decided to use a very blunt knife to prevent our actor from harm yet we were still very careful and precautions when filming for the knife scenes. Also, we used duct tape on Rizwana’s mouth. We had to be careful not to pull of her skin, to prevent this we placed the on some fabric to make the tape less sticky so her face is not harmed from the tape.

Possible problems during
filming
-Weather changes
-Changes in costume – need to
make sure that every time we film we are wearing the same thing.
-Need to make sure we film
enough shots.
